Karl-Anthony Towns Has Another Lousy Game
6 years agoMinnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns appeared to have no interest in playing basketball on Wednesday night and it showed with his stat line. He shot an atrocious 5-for-17 from the field and added 4 turnovers as well. Towns polished off his terrible night with eight rebounds, three blocks, one assist, and one steal in 35 lazy minutes. This game for Towns can be summed up in one play, where he air-balled a contested three-pointer then immediately asked to get subbed out. It has been an awful start for Towns overall this year too, as the usual fantasy stud is not producing close to his top-10 potential. Towns is shooting just 42.6 percent from the field this year and looks to not be there mentally on most nights. However, Towns should turn it around eventually, he’s one of the best scoring big men in the association and appears to be healthy. Towns will get a chance to bounce back on Friday night against the Milwaukee Bucks. Hopefully, Towns will at least look like he wants to be on the court for that one.
