New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns (leg) appears to have avoided a serious injury, according to Stefan Bondy of the New York Post, who reported that Towns went through an exhaustive post-game weightlifting session after his early exit from the Knicks' 13-point loss in Chicago on Saturday night. Towns had 44 points, 16 rebounds, and five assists in 37 minutes before hobbling to the locker room with a possible leg injury in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. Towns and the Knicks will look to bounce back from back-to-back road losses as they host the Magic on Monday.--Zach Thompson
