K.J. Hamler Suffers Concussion In Week 16 Loss
4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver K.J. Hamler (concussion) was evaluated for a concussion early in the Week 16 game against the Chargers and was eventually ruled out for the rest of the game. Hamler suffered the injury when he was tackled on a run of only three yards. He was not targeted at all in the passing game before suffering the head injury. With the Broncos playing for nothing but pride in Week 17 against the division-rival Raiders, it's likely that they will rest their second-round rookie to close out the year. The 21-year-old is a speedy and explosive threat out of the slot for this young Broncos offense, but he battled injuries and caught just 30 passes for 381 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games in 2020. He's a nice dynasty/keeper asset and could become useful in deeper leagues in 2021 if he's more involved in the offense. If Hamler sits out in the season finale, DaeSean Hamilton could be a DFS sleeper after leading Denver in receiving against the Chargers.
