K.J. Hamler, Bradley Chubb Miss Practice Wednesday
4 years agoDenver Broncos rookie wide receiver K.J. Hamler (concussion), pass-rusher Bradley Chubb (ankle) and defensive end Shelby Harris (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. Chubb missed the Week 16 loss to the Chargers, while Hamler suffered a concussion early on and was ruled out for the rest of the game. With nothing left to play for but pride in Week 17 against the Raiders, we'd expect both Hamler and Chubb to sit out. Hamler, a second-round rookie, was rarely used out of the slot in his first NFL season, catching 30 passes (56 targets) for 381 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games. The Penn State product should be a bigger part of the offense next year, but he'll open the season as strictly a dynasty/keeper league stash. DaeSean Hamilton will see work in three-receiver sets if Hamler sits out in Week 17. Chubb is one of the team's best pass-rushers, but he was missing his running mate in Von Miller (ankle) this year. Better days are ahead for the Broncos Defense if they can add some key players in the draft. We'd recommend avoiding Denver's defense against Las Vegas to close out the year.
