1 year agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Juwan Johnson (calf) missed a second straight day of practice on Thursday and is heading towards being inactive for the second straight week in Sunday's matchup against the New England Patriots. Johnson was hurt in pre-game warmups before the Week 4 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and did not play at all. The 27-year-old will need to practice in some fashion on Friday to have a chance to play this Sunday. Meanwhile, Foster Moreau (ankle) has been practicing in full this week and should return after missing last week's game. If Johnson isn't able to suit up, Moreau and veteran Jimmy Graham should split work at the tight end position.
