1 year agoBoston Red Sox infielder/designated hitter Justin Turner (heel) sat out on Tuesday against the Kansas City Royals after missing four straight games last week due to a heel bruise he suffered on July 31. Turner went just 2-for-10 in the last three games and still isn't 100 percent. Manager Alex Cora said Turner will likely avoid the injured list, but he will likely be out of the lineup again for a couple of days to recover. "He's a little banged up," Cora said. "We're probably gonna stay away from J.T. today, tomorrow and maybe the last game of the series. Hopefully, we can get him ready for the weekend." Fantasy managers need to act accordingly and keep Turner on their benches until this weekend. He's been a must-start for his ability to produce runs regularly in 2023.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
