1 year agoBoston Red Sox infielder/designated hitter Justin Turner (heel) is back in the lineup on Saturday against the visiting Detroit Tigers and right-hander Matt Manning, serving as the designated hitter and batting third. Turner is returning to the lineup for the first time since Monday while battling a bone bruise in his left heel since July 31. It's an issue that the 38-year-old said he'll probably have to deal with for the rest of the season, but he prefers to play through it instead of going on the injured list. It could affect Turner's production at the plate and will likely lead to more scheduled off days. He's been a must-start in all fantasy leagues in his first year in Beantown, but hopefully this injury won't cause him to finish the year on a low note.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
