Justin Rose, currently the fifth-ranked golfer in the official World Golf rankings, struggled throughout most of his recent tournament. His first three rounds had him at plus-three entering the fourth day. During the last round, he turned on the birdie train, making seven birdies. What could have been an even better day for him was stopped by a bogey and a double-bogey during the round. Look for him to be in contention this week at the Valspar Championship, as his T37 position last week was his worst finish of the year. Don’t expect anything less than a great round for him this week, as he is one of the best in the world right now and can make a barrage of birdies in an instant.--Drake Peaugh
