Justin Fields Day-To-Day, Will Practice Wednesday
2 years agoChicago Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said that quarterback Justin Fields (shoulder) is day-to-day and his status going into the Week 12 game against the New York Jets on Sunday is undetermined. However, Fields has been cleared to practice on Wednesday, and the Bears aren't considering putting him on Injured Reserve after he suffered a left shoulder injury in Week 11 against the Atlanta Falcons. The 23-year-old will be listed as limited on Wednesday for their walk-through, but it's a good sign for his availability this weekend. If for some reason Fields isn't cleared to play, Trevor Siemian would get the start under center for the Bears. As things stand now, Fields is on the right side of questionable for Week 12, and he'll be a must-start QB1 if he's active, despite the tough matchup against the Jets defense.
