Justin Crawford 2026 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Can Second Generation Star Standout as a Rookie
Remember how exciting Carl Crawford was for fantasy over a decade ago? Well, now his son is knocking on the door to the Majors while having a similar skillset to his old man. Justin Crawford spent the entire 2025 season in Triple-A, slashing .334/.411/.452 with seven home runs and 46 steals in 112 games. This was Crawford's third straight season going over 40 steals, and he hasn't hit below .300 at any level since he hit .288 in High-A back in 2023. On top of having elite speed, Crawford made contact at an 84% clip last season with an 11.5% walk rate and a zone contact rate north of 90%. There's also sneaky power in the profile as well, but Crawford continues to run groundball rates near 60%, which really limits his game power. He's set to take over in center field for the Phillies this season, and could secure the job out of spring training. And even if the homers aren't there yet, Crawford could provide value in the AVG and SB departments immediately.
