Justice Hill 2021 Outlook: Lost Opportunity
3 years agoBaltimore Ravens running back Justice Hill certainly hasn't lived up to expectations throughout his first few years in the league. After being taken in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, he underwhelmingly finished his rookie campaign with 225 yards and two touchdowns off 58 carries. With a year of growing pains behind the former Oklahoma State Cowboy, there was hope that he would see a more prominent role last season. Yet, he regressed from a statistical standpoint, totaling just 60 yards throughout 12 games. Entering 2021, Hill was an afterthought. However, when J.K. Dobbins (knee) suffered a season-ending ACL injury during the preseason, the 23-year-old began to get some attention, primarily since he was foreseen to support Gus Edwards in the running game moving ahead. Nonetheless, things aren't looking promising for Hill yet again as Ty'Son Williams, an undrafted BYU product, appears to have surpassed him on the depth chart. If either Edwards or Williams happens to get banged up at some point, Hill might make a blip on the fantasy radar. However, until that happens, fantasy managers in all formats should ignore him.
