Julio Teheran Arrives At Angels Camp
4 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Julio Teheran arrived to summer camp on Friday, but it's unclear how quickly he can catch up and be available to pitch with Opening Day a week away. The veteran right-hander is probably unlikely to be ready for the start of the regular season at this point, but Teheran is expected to be part of the team's six-man rotation when he's ready. Matt Andriese could make a start or two before Teheran takes his spot. The 29-year-old right-hander was a two-time All-Star with Atlanta in his nine years, compiling a career 3.67 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 7.8 K/9 in 226 starts. Teheran will likely hit the waiver wire in many mixed leagues to begin the season, and the fact that he'll be in a six-man rotation will limit his upside this year.
