Recent Update

6/11:Tampa Bay Rays starting pitcher Matt Andriese (groin) left after one inning Saturday versus the Athletics. He allowed a single run while striking out one. Manager Kevin Cash says it is "highly likely" that Andriese will go back on the disabled list. Andriese is 5-1 on the season with a 3.54 earned run average. His strikeout rate has slightly increased each season while both his ERA and opponent's batting average have shown improvement in 2017. It is unclear who would replace him, though pitcher Jacob Faria did look good earlier this week. If Faria gets the call, he could represent a good option in deeper leagues until Andriese returns.--Jamie Mellor - RotoBaller
