Jrue Holiday Won't Play Sunday
Portland Trail Blazers guard Jrue Holiday (calf) will miss his first game of the season on Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks. The two-time NBA champion is dealing with a sore right calf and has been downgraded from questionable to out. Holiday has had a great time with the Trail Blazers this season, averaging 16.7 points, 5.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.6 steals across 33.4 minutes of action. His absence on Sunday means more ball-handling duties for Shaedon Sharpe and Deni Avdija. Meanwhile, Sidy Cissoko, Rayan Rupert, and Caleb Love could all be more involved in the guard rotation.
