Joshua Palmer, Quentin Johnston Could See Ample Playing Time
1 year agoLos Angeles Chargers third-year wide receiver Joshua Palmer and rookie first-rounder Quentin Johnston are competing for the No. 3 job behind Keenan Allen and Mike Williams, but both Palmer and Johnston could see ample playing time because of their varying skill sets. "We've certainly got four guys that are all starter guys in this league, and we'll play them in a lot of different ways," new offensive coordinator Kellen Moore said. Palmer and Johnston have each had their share of standout plays in training camp so far. The 21-year-old Johnson has more immediate and long-term upside in fantasy because of his impressive physical attributes alone. Still, with limited volume as long as Allen and Williams stay healthy, Johnston will likely be an inconsistent WR4/flex in his rookie season as mostly a deep threat.
