The San Francisco 49ers signed free-agent defensive back Josh Norman to a one-year, $2.5 million contract on Sunday. The former Pro Bowler was limited to nine games as he dealt with a hamstring injury and was placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list last season. He racked up 24 tackles (21 solo), one interception, two fumble recoveries and a touchdown in 2020. Norman is a solid option and bolsters the 49ers secondary, but he is no longer the shutdown corner he once was, making him more of a depth signing. The 49ers defense is projected to be a top-10 scoring fantasy defense and is a must-start against a woeful Detroit Lions offense in Week 1.--Brad Camara - RotoBallerRead More News
