Anaheim Ducks defenseman Josh Manson was traded to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday, with the team picking up prospect Drew Helleson and a 2023 second-round draft pick in return. Anaheim retained 50 percent of Manson's $4.1 million cap hit in the deal. According to reports, Colorado was looking to bolster its blue line for quite some time. Manson, who has registered 113 points in 453 regular-season games for his career, will play a significant role straight away, as Colorado's defensive corp recently lost Samuel Girard (lower body) for up to four weeks and Bowen Byram (head) has been out as well.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
