Josh Jung Slides Over To Designated Hitter
4 months agoTexas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (finger) will move over from the hot corner to designated hitter ahead of Sunday's game against the Cleveland Guardians. Rangers' manager Bruce Bochy told reporters that Jung is having issues throwing the ball right now due to a cut on his finger. That being said, Ezequiel Duran will play third base while Robbie Grossman goes from DH to left field. The expectation is that this is a minor injury and Jung should return to third base in a few days. The 26-year-old has missed a good chunk of the 2024 season but is hitting .255 with four home runs and nine RBI in 26 games thus far.
