Josh Jung Expected To Play In Late Exhibition Games
9 months agoTexas Rangers third baseman Josh Jung (calf) is expected to play in the team's final two exhibition games on March 25th-March 26th against the Boston Red Sox at Global Life Field. He was diagnosed with a left calf strain three weeks ago. The 26-year-old recently underwent an MRI, which showed that his left strain is improving but he has yet to be cleared for running. Barring any setbacks, Jung will likely play in the team's final spring games and has a shot to be cleared for Opening Day. He slashed .266/.315/.467 with 23 home runs, 70 RBI, 75 runs, and a stolen base over 515 plate appearances in 2023. Jung has an NFBC ADP of 113 and remains a solid pick at his current ADP despite the injury.
