7/31:Houston Astros second baseman Jose Altuve (knee) isn't doing any activities on the field yet and is only receiving treatment on his knee, according to manager A.J. Hinch. That means it's unlikely that Altuve comes off the disabled list when he's eligible this Sunday. "Hopefully, when we get to L.A., we can do more extensive testing to see if there's a timeline we can put in place," Hinch said. "I know he's feeling better. What does that mean? I don't know until he gets a little bit more active on the baseball side. We are encouraged. We think he's right where he needs to be, but we'll know more when we get to the next city." Altuve remains one of the best hitters in the game and was batting .329 with nine homers, 46 RBI and 14 steals before his injury. Keep him stashed everywhere.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
