Jorge Polanco Absent Again, Expected Back on Tuesday
Jorge Polanco (knee) remains out of the starting lineup ahead of Monday's game against the Kansas City Royals. Polanco will miss his third game in a row due to left knee soreness. He recently tweaked his left knee, but it's not considered a serious injury and he's expected back for Game 2 of the series against the Royals on Tuesday. Fantasy managers will need to check back for another update on his status. In the meantime, Mitch Garver will serve as the designated hitter and bat seventh versus right-hander Michael Wacha on Monday. Although Polanco is expected back on Tuesday, it's an injury worth watching since he already had surgery on the same knee.
