Jordan Walker Stays Hot At Triple-A
4 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Jordan Walker posted another multi-hit performance on Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a home run and an RBI. This was his second straight game, tallying multiple hits and going deep. Since the start of the month, the 22-year-old has held a strong .349/.404/.674 line with 15 total hits, three doubles, three round-trippers, five RBI, and a 4:9 BB:K ratio. Since moving down to Triple-A, Walker has posted a .257 AVG, but his recent hot stretch could suggest he is turning the corner. Walker has struggled in the big leagues throughout his young career but could get another opportunity late in the summer if he continues to develop at Triple-A.
