Jordan Walker Returns To Lineup Tuesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfield prospect Jordan Walker (shoulder) is back in the Grapefruit League lineup on Tuesday against the Houston Astros and right-hander Brandon Bielak. Walker is starting in left field and hitting third in the batting order. Walker strained his right shoulder while sliding head-first in a spring game last Saturday, but the injury was never considered serious and he's back out there Tuesday. The 20-year-old, who is MLB's fourth-ranked prospect in 2023, has been turning heads in camp by hitting .424 (14-for-33) with three doubles, three home runs, seven RBI, seven runs and a stolen base in 11 Grapefruit League games to this point. He's an absolute must-have dynasty/keeper asset this year, and his raw power should make him relevant in mixed leagues as well.
