Jordan Walker Feeling Better, Back In The Lineup
1 year agoSt. Louis Cardinals rookie outfielder Jordan Walker (illness) has returned to the team's starting lineup on Saturday for the first of two games in London against the division-rival Chicago Cubs. Walker is serving as the designated hitter and is batting fifth against Cubs left-hander Justin Steele. The 21-year-old didn't play on Wednesday and then had two off days to get better. Fantasy managers need to get the former first-rounder back into all starting lineups immediately. He's currently riding a 13-game hitting streak that has seen him go 18-for-45 (.400) with four home runs, three doubles, eight RBI, a stolen base and six runs scored. However, he is hitting a lowly .182 (4-for-22) with only one of his long balls against left-handers in 2023.
