4 months agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery (elbow, shoulder) threw batting practice recently, and manager Aaron Boone thinks that Montgomery could still play a late-season role for the team. Even if the left-hander does return later this year, he's unlikely to move the needle for fantasy owners at all. The 26-year-old is recovering from Tommy John surgery and a shoulder setback and hasn't pitched at all this season. You're better off avoiding him when he returns and checking back in for the 2020 season.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
