Jordan Howard Wants To Stay In Philly
5 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard, who will be a free agent in March, said he hopes to be back with the team in 2020. The 25-year-old has been recovering from a shoulder stinger that he suffered on Nov. 3 against the Bears, but he didn't see the field at all in the wild-card loss to the Seahawks on Sunday. Howard finished with 119 carries for 525 yards and six rushing touchdowns in his injury-plagued 2019 season. As more of an early-down ball-handler and not much of a pass-catcher, Howard's fantasy ceiling is limited. With impressive rookie Miles Sanders taking over the backfield with Howard out this year, Howard would likely see a smaller role next year if he remains with the Eagles.
