6 months agoSt. Louis Cardinals relief pitcher Jordan Hicks (undisclosed) left Saturday's game in the ninth inning with an injury. The details of the injury are yet to be released, but Hicks didn't appear to be in much pain as he walked off the field. The Cardinals trainer was waved onto the field by catcher Yadier Molina after Molina had met with Hicks on the mound. Hicks pitched 1 1/3 innings in the game, allowing one hit and one earned run while striking out two. He has a 3.14 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with 14 saves on the season. More information on the injury should be released shortly.--Andrew Ericksen - RotoBaller
