Chicago Blackhawks center Jonathan Toews will make his last appearance for the team on Thursday against Philadelphia. It was announced Thursday morning by Blackhawks general manager Kyle Davidson that the team won't be re-signing Toews, who will become an unrestricted free agent in the offseason. Toews has spent his entire 16-year NHL career with the Blackhawks, being team captain for 15 years, and it's unclear if he will continue his career in 2023-24. The three-time Stanley Cup champion has totaled 371 goals and 511 assists in 1066 regular-season appearances. He's had 30 points in 52 games this season.--Taavi Pailk
