Jonathan Taylor Has Successful Ankle Surgery
2 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor (ankle) confirmed earlier this week that he had successful surgery on his ankle, an arthroscopic debridement. Taylor initially injured his ankle in Week 4 and was never physically the same the rest of the year. "That thing had a bunch of junk in there from a bunch of years," Taylor said. "Just finally had to clean it out and make sure I'm good to go. We finally had the time to get it right, make sure I'm 100% ready to rock. That's all you can ask." He rushed for 1,811 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2021 but was a massive disappointment in 2022 because of his injured ankle and Indy's poor offense as a whole. Fantasy managers won't be quite so high on the 24-year-old in drafts this fall, but Taylor will have RB1 upside as a bounce-back candidate, depending on what the Colts do at the QB position.
