Jonathan Schoop, Mitch Garver Resting Tuesday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jonathan Schoop is sitting Tuesday night against the Oakland A's. In his place, Luis Arraez will man the keystone and bat fifth against RHP Daniel Mengden. The rookie Arraez is a utility man for the Twins, and draws the start with a .411 average, one homer, and five RBI. He's also smacked three doubles and walked 10 times in 67 plate appearances. Catcher Mitch Garver also sits in favor of the lefty hitting Jason Castro, who has eight home runs and 17 RBI versus a righty this season. Both Arraez and Castro provide cheap value in DFS, especially Castro for the home run upside.
