Jonathan Schoop Able To Do a Bit of Everything on Tuesday
Jonathan Schoop (oblique) was able to hit off of a tee, take ground balls and throw prior to the team's scheduled game on Tuesday. Schoop is dealing with an oblique strain that has sidelined him since April 14. Prior to going down with his injury, Schoop was hitting .230 with one home run and three RBI. The Orioles second baseman proved how potent he could be last season, hitting 32 home runs and notching 105 RBI. Despite his shaky start, he'll need to be in every lineup whenever he is able to return from injury.
