New England Patriots cornerback Jonathan Jones (shoulder) has already been ruled out for Week 7 against the New York Jets, and the team is bracing for the possibility of being without him for an extended period of time, according to sources. In his sixth season with the Pats, Jones has played 54% of the defensive snaps through six games and has 18 tackles, three passes defensed and one interception. New England will most likely turn to second-year corner Myles Bryant on Sunday after he was signed from the practice squad on Tuesday. D'Angelo Ross is another option on the practice squad. Jones' injury makes the Patriots thin at the position after they traded Stephon Gilmore to the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 6. Rookie Shaun Wade (concussion) will also miss his third straight game this weekend.--Keith HernandezRead More News
