Chicago Bears offensive guard Jonah Jackson has signed an extension with the organization. The two sides have agreed on a one-year extension that will keep Jackson in Chicago through 2027. Jackson will receive all $17.5 million he was slated to earn this season. His salary will increase to $7 million with a $5.25 million for injury. Jackson was acquired by the Bears earlier this month from the Los Angeles Rams in exchange for a sixth-round pick. He only started in four games with the Rams last season, but before that Jackson was an All-Pro with the Detroit Lions. On paper, this certainly appears to be a solid upgrade to the Bears offensive line.--Andy Webb
