San Francisco Giants starting pitcher Johnny Cueto (lat) is scheduled to throw bullpen sessions on Wednesday and Saturday and is expected to ramp up to live batting practice next week. Cueto is dealing with a Grade 1 lat strain and isn't expected to rejoin the starting rotation until May 9, at the earliest. The 35-year-old veteran right-hander had allowed four earned runs while striking out 18 and walking four in three starts covering 20 innings before he landed on the injured list. Health is certainly a question mark for Cueto now days, but he's looked good so far this season and is worth rostering in most mixed leagues, at least as a matchup-based streamer.--Keith Hernandez
