3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver John Ross (quadriceps) was listed as a limited practice participant on Wednesday. Even with Sterling Shepard (quadriceps) inactive on Monday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Ross played just 11 offensive snaps and wasn't targeted at all. He's battling Collin Johnson for playing time right now as the fourth wideout behind Kenny Golladay, rookie Kadarius Toney and Darius Slayton. Ross may pop up for a big play every now and then in this inconsistent offense, but he hasn't caught a pass since Week 8 and has just eight receptions for 189 yards and one touchdown on 16 targets in seven games in 2021.
