Anaheim Ducks goaltender John Gibson had an unfortunate ending to his preseason on Saturday, leaving the final game against Los Angeles with an upper-body injury. According to The Athletic, the team doesn't yet know how Gibson was hurt. He exited after the first period and Anthony Stolarz took over the crease. Gibson had a poor outing, giving up three goals on 19 shots. Injuries tend to follow Gibson around a lot, but this hopefully isn't a serious issue and the Ducks No. 1 isn't forced to miss the start of the regular season. Gibson will likely continue to struggle to give fantasy managers wins on a regular basis in 2022-23, but he produces huge save numbers and has yet to have a season with a save percentage below .900.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
