John Carlson Posts Game-High Six Shots, Four Blocks
With two points to this point in the Stanley Cup Final, Washington Capitals defenseman John Carlson has retaken the defensive scoring lead from the idle Dustin Byfuglien. The 28-year-old pending UFA now has 18 points in 22 postseason games. His four goals are one off his career-best set in 2015-16, but his 14 assists are far and away his most in a postseason. Along with an assist in Game 3, Carlson posted a game-high six shots and also led both teams with four blocks. He’s a beast on the back end, and should be a lock for your DFS start.
