2 years agoMinnesota Twins manager Rocco Baldelli said that outfielder Joey Gallo (side) has been playing through right side soreness for a few days. The issue didn't resolve with the off day on Thursday and he was pulled early on Friday to avoid making it worse. Gallo went for tests on Friday night, and the team should know more on his condition on Saturday. Fantasy managers should prepare for a potential injured list stint for the 29-year-old left-handed slugger, who is off to a nice start for the Twins with three home runs and seven RBI in his first seven games in 2023. Nick Gordon replaced Gallo in the lineup on Friday night and would likely see more playing time if Gallo is forced to miss additional time.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
