Joey Bart Bangs Out Four Hits At Triple-A
4 years agoSan Francisco Giants prospect Joey Bart went 4-for-5 with a solo homer on Monday night at Triple-A. The home run was his fourth of the year and the 24-year-old catcher saw his batting average jump to .349 through 17 games. Bart has already had an eventful season having spent time on the sidelines with an injury and the Giants' taxi squad. While his 146 wRC+ is impressive, there is still some work to do with Bart's overall game as his BB-K ratio of 4-20 suggests he's been too aggressive at the plate. Even so, the package of skills that he possesses has him ranked by Rotoballer as the third-best catching prospect for dynasty baseball.
