Dallas Stars forward Joe Pavelski was forced to exit Monday's Game 1 against Minnesota with an undisclosed injury. He was hurt in the second period when Wild defenseman Matt Dumba delivered Pavelski a big hit. The veteran finished with 10:08 of ice time and notched a power-play assist before his early exit. When asked about Pavelski's status after the game, Stars head coach Peter DeBoer said that he isn't "confident" of his availability for Wednesday's Game 2. Pavelski has been a key piece of the Stars' first line, which has been one of the best in the league this season, so his injury could have a massive impact on Dallas' hopes for the 2023 playoffs.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
