3 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (ankle) was not seen practicing at the portion open to the media on Thursday. It would be Mixon's second straight missed practice after he suffered a low ankle sprain in Week 4 last Thursday. He'll need to practice at least on a limited basis on Friday to have a shot at playing in Week 5 against the Green Bay Packers. Expect Mixon to be questionable for this weekend, and he could be a game-time decision Sunday morning. Offensive coordinator Brian Callahan said that if Mixon is out, they will likely take a "committee" approach to the backfield and split touches between Samaje Perine and rookie Chris Evans. Perine was a popular waiver pickup this week, but he'll be a low-ceiling RB3/flex if Mixon is inactive.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
