2 years agoCincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon (concussion) cleared the league's concussion protocols last week, but the Bengals held him out in Week 13 against the Kansas City Chiefs as a precaution. "It was a tough conversation because I wanted to be out there and contribute with my brothers... he made that decision, and I had no other choice but to live with it," Mixon said about head coach Zac Taylor. Mixon put in a full practice on Wednesday and should be ready to return in Week 14 against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday following a two-game absence. The 26-year-old and the entire Bengals offense was held in check against Cleveland in their first meeting on Halloween night, but Mixon should be able to bounce back and has RB1 potential against a porous Browns run defense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
