Jimmie Johnson An Expensive Gamble For The Geico 500
4 years agoTalladega has not been kind to Jimmie Johnson in quite some time. The No. 48 team has managed to finish in the top 10 just three times in their last 10 races at the superspeedway. The poor performances were not strictly the result of bad luck either, as he has only failed to finish the race twice during that time. With driver ratings of 64.9 and 39.6 in his last two races at Talladega, Johnson does not appear to be heading for a quick turnaround. The $8,800 dollar price tag in DFS is a steep price to pay for the results that Johnson has posted recently and fantasy players may be best served investing their funds elsewhere for this week's race.
