Jets Moving Elijah Moore To The Slot
2 years agoNew York Jets head coach Robert Saleh confirmed that the team is moving disgruntled wide receiver Elijah Moore to the slot. "It's a new position because we've been playing him outside for the most part and we're trying to find ways to utilize his strengths," Saleh said. Moore requested to be traded because he wasn't happy with his role. That led to him being inactive for a game, but the Jets are sticking with Moore and want to get him more involved. The problem is that rookie first-rounder Garrett Wilson is the only fantasy relevant wideout in the Jets' low-volume passing offense. Braxton Berrios will lose out on snaps with Moore heading to the slot. Moore hasn't caught a pass since Week 5 and should remain on the waiver wire in standard-sized fantasy leagues.
