The New York Jets added a solid pass-catching tight end in the second round by selecting Mason Taylor out of LSU. The 20-year-old racked up 546 yards and two touchdowns in 2024, which was his most productive year in college. He looks the part of an NFL tight end and showed great hands by dropping just one of his 79 targets in 2024 after struggling with drops earlier in his career. His route tree expanded as the year went on, and he picked up more looks further down the field, although he was never a major deep threat. He has TE2 upside since there aren't many other options at the position for the Jets, and Justin Fields has shown that he likes to connect on shorter passes over the middle to his tight end.--Zach Thompson
