Jesus Sanchez Collects Three Hits With Walk-Off Triple Monday
Jesus Sanchez had a great game at the plate and played the hero in Monday's 8-7 walk-off win over the Cubs. Sanchez went 3-for-5 with a single, a triple, a solo home run, four RBI, and two strikeouts. He also stole a base. The 27-year-old got things going, lining a leadoff homer over the right-center fence. He then ended the game in the bottom of the ninth inning with runners on first and second and two outs, lining a pitch down the right-field line, allowing both runners to score and end the game. Sanchez has flashed some fantasy upside at times throughout his career, and he is now slashing .240/.330/.340 with two HR, 12 RBI, and five stolen bases in 115 plate appearances. While he had a productive fantasy day, fantasy managers may want to wait for a longer string of success before trusting Sanchez.
