Jesus Aguilar Continues Excellent May With Six Total Bases In Win
7 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar went 3-for-5 with two runs, a home run, three RBI, and a walk in the 17-6 win over the New York Mets. Aguilar has been the replacement at first base since Eric Thames went down with a thumb injury back in the beginning of May and has been an excellent replacement. In May, he's hit at a .282 rate with a .946 OPS, 15 runs, seven home runs, and 18 RBI. He's most certainly earned himself an MLB starting position, so it will be interesting to see how the Brewers manage their logjam at first base. Thames and Ryan Braun could potentially lose playing time. Aguilar should be owned in all deep formats, and12 team leagues right now.
