Jerry Jeudy Finds The End Zone In Preseason Opener
1 year agoDenver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy had only two catches in the team's preseason opener on Friday night against the Arizona Cardinals, but one of them went for a 21-yard gain over the middle and a touchdown on a fourth-down play. Jeudy finished the 18-17 loss with two catches for 40 yards and the score on three targets. Denver's offense didn't look good at all on their first three drives, so the starters stayed out there for a fourth drive, which ended in Jeudy's touchdown. The 24-year-old dropped a nice pass from quarterback Russell Wilson the play before the TD. Jeudy finished just shy of his first 1,000-yard season in 2022, and there remains hope that he can finally break out if head coach Sean Payton can get Wilson and this offense right. He's worth a look as a low-end WR2/high-end WR3 in fantasy drafts as the likely target leader in this offense.
