Jerome Ford, Kareem Hunt Limited Wednesday
12 months agoCleveland Browns running backs Jerome Ford (wrist) and Kareem Hunt (groin) were both limited in the team's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Both Ford and Hunt have been on the injury report in recent weeks but haven't missed any games. Ford continues to serve as Cleveland's primary early-down option in the backfield, but he has seen single-digit carries in three of the last four games and hasn't scored on the ground since Week 11. The 24-year-old should be considered an RB3/flex with limited upside behind a banged-up offensive line heading into Week 16 against the Houston Texans. Hunt has been splitting carries with Ford but is averaging just 3.13 yards per carry in 12 games. He's not being used much as a receiver, either, catching just one pass in each of the last three games. Hunt has fallen to RB4/flex territory in deep PPR leagues.
