3 years agoMiami Dolphins linebacker Jerome Baker (knee) is believed to have avoided a serious knee injury when he went down in the first quarter of the Week 7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, according to a source. MRI results came back negative for Baker, but his status for a Week 8 matchup with the division-rival Buffalo Bills is in question. Elandon Roberts saw more playing time as a result of Baker's injury and struggled to keep up with Falcons rookie tight end Kyle Pitts. Against one of the best offenses in the league in Buffalo in Week 8, fantasy managers should be staying far away from Miami's defense. In seven games this year, Baker has 43 tackles (29 solo), two passes defensed, one forced fumble and one sack.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
